Got hope for a cancer-free future?

We do, and that’s the mission of this 5K/1 Mile Run. We’ve known several people who have suffered brain tumors and other cancers, and if scientists continue their research, we hope one day they’ll find a cure.
All of the proceeds from the Got Hope Run are donated to the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). We’ve donated over $35,000 since the first run in 2003. Because of this overwhelming support, ABTA named a two-year research fellowship after one of our founders, Harper Rowland. The fellowship, called The Harper Rowland/American Brain Tumor Association Fellowship, was awarded to Dr. Marta Alonso, PhD, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Alonso’s research project concentrates on treatment of gliomas, the more common types of malignant brain tumors. In addition to donations to the ABTA, Got Hope awards a $1,000 scholarship to a local high school senior whose life has been affected by cancer.
Thanks for your support and for helping us keep hope alive.
See you on May 19!
